George and Kelly did a great job stacking little and big rocks to make it an easy walk through.
Precise turning, good directions and we were through!
An aerial photo. Bob, Will, Kelly, Barry, Autumn, George. (Rich on the cliff) |
|
Barry makes the ascent!
A place where George can stay if he breaks his rig.
This was waiting at the top of the hill. Comes with a nice view too! |
|
Width of this monster made this a tight climb.
Turning around to see if he needs to winch the only front locker-less member of this miscreant bunch. (me)
Kelly guiding me up. | |
Finally took some serious skinny pedal to get past here.
This was a nice steep little jaunt with a few trees to meet you if you got out of control.
I don't like down. | |
Sliding, Sliding. Barry just missed a picture of me getting whacked in the face with a branch. Of course that was the "action" shot he wanted!
Making it up and out. | |
George decided to take the hard line. Why I tell you that, I don't know. If by this point you haven't figured it out.... put a helmet on!
Turns out wheelbase was a problem.
A flat rear tire didn't help the situation. If he had a little more air, perhaps he might have made it.
Winching out in defeat since he didn't want to ruin the 42'' swamper that was flat and getting twisted around on the double bead lock like nothing I have seen before! I am impressed how much abuse that tire took!
I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE! |
|
Both cameras nearly out of battery power and out of memory...
Good trip. Beautiful day! No big breaks! Autumn drove the Jeep and LIKED IT! To the dark side, she will go..
Until next trip! |
